Overlooking the Apanas lake, Santa Matilde expands through 226 hectares of land. The hard work of the Lacayo family has allowed this relatively young plantation to become one of the most renowned estates in the region, with an annual production of 4,500 60 kg bags. The Estate was founded in 1997 and is located in Jinotega in the Northern region of Nicaragua at an altitude of 1,180 meters above sea-level. Santa Matildes´s unique coffee cup combines a citric aroma with a soft sweetness, a balanced body and a chocolate aftertaste. A product that is only possible with the right temperature and rainfall levels.
