Strictly Hard Bean (SHB)
This coffee variety represents 75 percent of the country’s production. It is characterized as a fairly compact and corrugated grain, with a rather closed and crooked or zigzag slit.
It has an excellent aroma and marked acidity that achieves a perfect balance of body and taste with citric tones
Hard Bean (HB)
It is the second dominant player in the Guatemalan coffee production. It is characterized as a large, compact and corrugated grain, with a closed and crooked or zigzagged slit.
Hard Bean (HB) coffees have rich fragrance with good body and its main feature is acidity.
Extra prime washed (EPW)
This coffee type is characterized by being small with light green hue and crooked or semi-open slit grain.
In cup, it has slightly citrus notes and the overall flavor is freshly cut grass.
